We are in a building phase, but here is a look at our 2024 campaign:

Phase 1:

Melino is currently utilizing volunteers to connect and build friendships with those experiencing homelessness in Newark, CA. We have two goals for phase 1: First, to know as many of our neighbors possible that are experiencing homelessness, as well as their stories and needs. We currently are surveying as many pockets of Newark possible weekly to gain as many stories and experiences possible. If you would like to help or have a story to share, please contact us. Second, to know as many resources as possible to assist our neighbors in need. We believe that with familiarizing ourselves with the needs and resources, we can be the most effective in loving our neighbors. If you have resources that can help, we would love to hear from you.

Phase 2: 

Connect the dots. Help those in need make connections with existing resources.

Phase 3: 

Fill the gap. Once we have a better understanding of the greater need in Newark, we will campaign to fill the missing gaps, utilizing partnerships, volunteers, and fund raising to better bring the loving Peace of Christ to our neighbors in need.
